Refund & Cancellation Policy

The Kraken Resort – Trinity, Texas

At The Kraken Resort, we understand that plans can change. Please review our refund and cancellation policy carefully before making a reservation.

General Policy

All reservations, event passes, and deposits are subject to the policies outlined below. By booking with us, you agree to these terms.

Lodging & RV Reservations

  • Cancellations made 14 days or more prior to check-in will receive a full refund, minus any non-refundable processing or booking fees.

  • Cancellations made 7–13 days prior to check-in will receive a 50% refund of the total reservation amount.

  • Cancellations made less than 7 days prior to check-in are non-refundable.

Event Passes & Weekend Events

  • Event passes are non-refundable, as space is limited and events are planned based on attendance.

  • If an event pass is bundled with lodging, the lodging portion follows the lodging cancellation policy above.

  • Event passes may be transferred to another couple with prior approval from resort management.

No-Shows & Early Departures

  • No refunds will be issued for no-shows, late arrivals, or early departures.

Resort-Initiated Cancellations

In the rare event that The Kraken Resort must cancel an event or reservation due to unforeseen circumstances, guests will be offered:

  • A full refund, or

  • The option to transfer the reservation to a future event or date.

Weather Policy

The Kraken Resort is a rain-or-shine destination. Refunds will not be issued due to weather conditions unless the resort is forced to close.

Payment & Processing Fees

  • Booking, processing, or third-party service fees are non-refundable.

  • Refunds, when applicable, are processed back to the original form of payment within 5–10 business days.
